Cordy and I actually went fishing off my dock last night.....i caught a bonefish...but he was so smart he jumped off right before we could pull him in....but we did see him or her....what are fish.... generic?

Then cordy got a big one...i use a pole she uses fishing line....so it was tough and ofcourse now it was getting dark....but she played with it till it was almost in and almost in the same spot as mine...and sure enough it got off too.....but it was fun.....too dark to even see what it was...but it was big!!

Breakfast at the winner so far

Things aren't so bad...jen made me breakfast with her eggs!! We are trying to boil the corn and see if they will eat that along with the rice...not ready for dog or cat food yet....came home early today and one is on the nest so maybe i will be lucky today....jen already has one.....

good news.....they aren't swine!!

I am definitely losing the egg battle but to add insult to injury dan came by with his family and his ducks are bigger than mine!! He feeds them dogfood....i give mine rice......

so do i switch to cat food...since that's what i have....or who cares rice is better?

what a day

One of jen's hen laid an egg in a different place and it was broken...who did that?

I am watching my flock and one of my hen's falls into the duck pond!! the one with the wierd neck like jen's black one...so eldon and i ran out and helped it out with a board....cordy thinks it couldn't have figure it out...but as usual I am always willing to interfere and help...even when not asked.....

but the good news...2 eggs for me.....egg salad for dinner...thank you ladies...

I want a new hen!!

Not fair....i give her one hen and she gets the next one from a different family......the 4 non-layers are sisters.....where did that smart chick come from....i want one.....
