Little One Flew the Coop

Looks like we are back to mom and dad......

Little One decided to leave the nest...so she has been AWOL for a few days....will keep you posted if she returns with a boyfriend.....

Little one is flying

Little One is now flying!! Been practicing and is now flying around the pond. Dad has molted for the first time....so we will see what happens when they all start flying again......

I was waiting to announce that one baby duck has survived!! I will attach a picture when i get one...so doe and schmo now have one child to raise....and she is growing up fast.....

The parents have are about a year old...and the baby as we followed was born june 6th....

We got eggs!!!

There are 8 this morning..... so I'm guessing #1 arrived one week ago on saturday the 19th.. I'm picking 5 June for the arrival date..

New home for ducks

Well it has been awhile.....the ducks started eating my neighbors flowers.....so they have found a new home in surfside.....thank you dan

they are all flying and hopefully laying eggs somewhere.....they come and go and their new treat is dog food!!!

they have a beautiful pond with an island and even their first shelter...the house that dan built!!

Boy have they changed....but are very very happy......
